BYTES: The Reverse Tower Defense

Bytes is a twist on the classic TD formula where you play as the attacker to strategically build your own path and use special tiles to avoid and mitigate damage to your Bytes.

Play against an AI defender who learns from your actions and tries to counter your movements.

Rogue AI designation "NLAI 74a" or "Complexus" has slipped through New Life security and your goal is to prevent any further damage by taking back security nodes. --Or at least that will be the focus when there's a proper story line :)--

This is the first public demo of my first game, and it's still in development so expect bugs. 

My biggest focus right now is feedback, especially on gameplay and performance issues, so if you try Bytes out, please check out this survey I made to make giving feedback as easy as possible. There's also the comments section, whatever works for you.

You can pan the camera by holding left click, and rotate it by holding right click.
